We are currently in our 3rd week of a 9-week term, and our classes are filling up.

Konfident Kids are running the following sessions this term:

Penrith - Saturday morning 10-11am: coaches Veronica and Cynthia

Seven Hills - Saturday morning 9-10am & 10-11am: coach Bianca

Liverpool - Saturday morning 10-11am: coach Lia

I would like to welcome all of our new Konfident Kids and say a big hello again to all of our returning families. I hope you enjoy your term - see you at a class soon!

Each day the kids participated in 3 sports, learning the rules and skills required. They participated in a short nutrition education session, which includes interactive activities to assist in learning. This time our focus was on drinking plenty of water (especially in the heat) and meal planning - Why should we eat a balanced diet? They also ate some fruit salad for afternoon tea - a great way to reinforce their nutrition information and to help the children re-stock their energy stores!

During the afternoons, the kids are able to choose their own recreation activities; watching a movie, making art & craft, having their faces painted, playing games, or playing with their own gaming systems - the perfect way to relax and recuperate before another day of fun & activity! Art & craft had an Australia day theme and the kids thoroughly enjoyed making their Australian Animal facemasks, Kangaroo Pencil holders, Australian flag medals and Aussie colouring pages, which they are able to wear and wave on Australia Day!

We are currently looking for coaching staff to run our classes, vacation care programmes, and parties.

The majority of our classes and parties run on weekends, and driving is required.

Exercise Science & Fitness students, childcare workers and anyone with a sports coaching background is encouraged to apply. First Aid certification is favourable, and we require all staff to complete the Australian Sports Commission's 'Beginning Coaching - General Principles' Course.

Konfident Kids is very excited to announce that we took out the "Children's Services" category at the Penrith TrueLocal Business Awards on Friday 7th August.

We are extremely proud to win our category 3 years in a row, and feel that we are able to provide a great service to our local communities. It is fantastic to be acknowledged for this.

I would like to thank my staff for all of their hard work and hours put in to ensure our programme delivers on what we promise. A big thank you to our admin and behind-the-scenes staff who put in hours of hard work to ensure Konfident Kids runs smoothly.

Lastly, I would like to say a big thank you to all of our Konfident Kids families - both old and new! Your support means a lot to us, and we look forward to improving our programme so that we continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our local communities.

Konfident Kids was happy to support this event and ran a stall which included a specially netted-off area with some of our sports equipment for the children to try their hand at. Despite the weather forecast, thousands of families attended this wonderful event and our Konfident Kids stall had lots of interest!

Business Opportunities

Konfident Kids is expanding interstate in the next 12 months. Franchising opportunities will exist for investors, with a suitable background in health, childcare or sport and leisure. You must demonstrate a commitment to the physical health and well being of children and have a basic knowledge of small business operations. This type of business is ideally suited to an owner operator with a small number of key support staff. Our company reserves the right to approve all applicants. All applicants will complete due diligence to determine  compatibility between the Konfident Kids Licensing Company and the investor and the investors suitability to the industry.  Master franchises and multiple franchise ownership will be considered.

At Drummoyne, We have found a fantastic venue where we have the benefit of both indoor and outdoor spaces. The centre also includes a creche, where 'littlies' can be entertained for a small, nominal fee.

At Balmain, we have a bright, airy indoor space at the PCYC which is centrally located but where street parking is not impossible! All enrolments for Balmain include a one-off PCYC membership fee which entitles its members to some great benefits.
